Site under construction

We aim to promote and foster interest in the study of archaeology in Corwen and the Dee Valley. The society runs a programme of events for its members and to which the general public are also invited (a small donation of GBP3.00 is requested from non-members attending these events). Lectures normally take place in Corwen. Our intention is to research and record the rich archaeological heritage of the Dee Valley from the source of the Dee in Penllyn to the Vale of Llangollen. This remit includes the tributary valleys of the Dee and neighbouring areas. Our members enjoy a full programme of events, from monthly lectures, to fieldwork, site visits and community projects. CADVAS will also undertake and support community activities which have a bearing on this area’s archaeological heritage. Membership of CADVAS is £10 per annum which covers ALL our activities, and includes personal injury insurance. Join as an Active Member or as a Friend of CADVAS to support our endeavours.
